Choosing a Cross Stitch Project
. Patience is something you should have or something you will learn along the way. I want to show more people that they can do cross stitch and love it. I hope this will help you to get started or to get started again. If you are just getting started my best advise is to start small and with something you love so you will finish and have that feeling of satisfaction when your done and every time you see your completed piece. That way you will start your next slightly larger piece. Happy Stitchin

0 commentsA Girl Scout Journey: Agent of Change

0 commentsRunning Your Girl Scout Troop - "Around The World" Try-it
At the beginning of each Try-it it explains what the Try-it is about. This is what I call the Spirit of the Try-it. In this case the Girl Scouts want the girls to learn more about different peoples and cultures.
0 commentsRunning Your Girl Scout Troop - "Senses" Try-it
This Try-it can be fun but requires a bit of planning before the meeting. Below I will give you a quick run down for a station meeting. I didn't do any fun outings for this one just a straight forward meeting with 4 stations. If you have any exciting ideas to add please do so in the comments section at the end of the Hub. On the other hand, there are times when you need to just have a simple meeting. So save this plan for one of those times.

This Try-it can be done all at one meeting, in two meetings or you can ask the girls to do one requirement on their own to bring to the meeting. So Mix and Match to fit your troops style.

With this Jr. badge my goal was to have the girls and moms enjoy themselves in a girls night in theme. I wanted to create an old fashion Pajama party and have the girls learn that taking care of themselves was important and a lot of fun.

0 commentsRunning Your Girl Scout Troop - Brownie Try-Its
This Hub-page is basically going to be Brownies for Dummies. So if you have some experience with running a troop you might read some of this and say “no kidding”. Take what you can and try to remember what it was like when you knew nothing. So if you are a beginner read on. If you are a pro I hope there might be a new thing or two you can use.
